Our Staff

Pastor Frank was called as the Pastor of Homer Congregational Church in July of 2005. He earned his M.Div from the Moody Bible Institute and he has an undergrad degree from LewisUniversity. He was born and raised in the south suburbs of Chicago and was saved by the Lord Jesus Christ at age 19. In January of 2005, he married his wonderful wife Erynn, who has the privilege to be a stay-at-home mom and take care of their three children, Joel (4), Luke (2), and Emelia (5mo.).  Erynn is also involved in Vacation Bible School and Kidventure, our Sunday children's program. Pastor Frank enjoys reading about and praying to God, spending time with his family and friends, hiking and observing nature, and has a desire to continue mission work and help people become fully devoted followers of Jesus. Jason Egan joined our team as an Associate Pastor in July of 2007. He was born and raised in Oak Lawn, IL and from there went to New Tribe's Bible Institute in Wisconsin. Jason works extensively with the youth in the church and also helps organize missions. He leads Shine, a midweek ministry for kids k-5th grade and Ignite, a ministry for high school teens. He spends significant time in small discipleship groups.  He and his wife, Meghan, have been married since 2007, and live in downtown Lockport. Meghan also pours into the youth ministry at Homer and uses her encouragement, creativity, and musical ability to help the kids connect with God. 

Christine Dorn came on staff in April of 2006. She takes care of much of the administrative work at the church and is also the treasurer. When you call the church on a Monday, Tuesday or Friday, it is Christine’s friendly voice you will here.  She is married to Austin who leads our music ministry. She enjoys being part of the music ministry and is involved in several ministries at Homer, including the prayer ministy and Kidventure.
